John --
Our state has always been at the forefront of expanding and safeguarding women's rights. And on this Women's Equality Day, I want to make one thing clear: I haven't forgotten the recent attacks on women's rights, and I am committed to right these wrongs and bring justice to women everywhere.
Since last year's Women's Equality Day, Justice Brett Kavanaugh was appointed to the Supreme Court, the Trump administration placed a "gag" rule on family planning funding, and in May we all watched as state after state introduced and passed unconstitutional abortion bans.
In the wake of these injustices, I understand why some of my constituents tell me they don't feel heard by their own government. And I fear for future generations of women and their ability to access reproductive care.
2020 is fast approaching, so if you're with me in the fight to ensure that every woman is free to make her own decisions about her body, please give to my re-election campaign on this Women's Equality Day.

Right now, Senator Mitch McConnell and the Trump administration are defunding Planned Parenthood, putting millions of women at risk of losing their reproductive health care.
This is terrifying and against the values we stand for. That's why I'm supporting legislation in the House that can put a stop to these unconstitutional bans and ensure every woman has the right to choose.
Roe vs. Wade is the law of the land, but that hasn't stopped legislators in Georgia, Alabama, and Trump's allies in Washington from undermining women's rights. So I'm supporting additional federal action to affirm women's rights.
Women must be able to continually make empowered decisions about their health to fully thrive. So on this Women's Equality Day, join me in the work to protect reproductive health care now. Give what you can today.
