On Thursday, the FEC contribution reports served as hard evidence to what we already knew: Pete Stauber loves corporate PAC money. He's taking funds from large insurance companies, oil & gas giants, Big Pharma, and major financial firms.

While I sure could use the funding that billionaire companies have at their disposal, I’m all too aware that those large lumps of cash come at a cost — a price I’m not willing to pay. There’s too much at stake for the people of our district and of this country to let corporate special interests play a factor.

That's why I'm proud to announce today that I have officially taken the pledge to NOT accept ANY corporate PAC money.

We need leaders who we can trust to make important decisions based on morals and values to benefit the greatest good — not the highest bidder (or donor).
