DWC has published the 2025 health care provider performance-based oversight assessment results and a list of the health care provider tier placements.
DWC regularly evaluates health care providers for compliance with Texas Labor Code Section 402.075 and 28 Texas Administrative Code Section 180.19.

On November 15, 2023, DWC announced an audit of the prescribing practices of health care providers when prescribing gabapentin or pregablin in combination with opioids. DWC has now posted an executive summary with the overall assessment of this completed audit.

During this time, you will not be able to use these systems to:
- Report a work-related injury using the web-enabled form.
- Locate an insurance carrier's contact information.
- Access health care provider or designated doctor agent accounts.
- Verify a designated doctor's certification to certify for maximum medical improvement and assign impairment ratings.
- File DWC Form-005 or DWC Form-020SI online.
DWC's online attorney fee processing system at Texas.gov will be available.
System participants can temporarily verify employer's coverage through NCCI.
