Dear John,
This year was challenging for clean energy and climate progress, but despite these obstacles, Fresh Energy is not backing down on our commitment to equitably decarbonize Minnesota’s economy by 2050.
You can count on the leadership of our expert staff to continue driving the ambitious and future-focused clean energy and climate policy you’ve come to expect from Fresh Energy.
Your support is changing lives and building a clean energy future that means cleaner air, lower energy costs, and climate action that protects all.
John, when you support Fresh Energy, you are driving Minnesota’s clean energy future. We can’t do this work without you. Will you join us with a donation to Fresh Energy to keep changing lives and powering the transition to a fully decarbonized future?

Here’s what Fresh Energy accomplished this year thanks to your generous support:
* Defended Minnesota’s 100% clean electricity by 2040 law during the 2025 legislative session. And we hit a milestone this year — Minnesota's electricity sector is already halfway decarbonized!
* Helped design Xcel Energy’s Automatic Bill Credit program, changing lives by putting money directly back into the pockets of communities with a high energy burden. (Watch how it works here! Visit bit.ly/abc-policy [bit.ly/abc-policy] .)
* Mobilized our Action Network to submit more than 2,050 comments throughout the legislative session and beyond to speak up for critical clean energy and climate policies.
* Advocated for a stronger transmission system with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to reduce emissions, drive down costs, and increase resiliency.
* Scrutinized the natural gas system and identified decarbonization pathways in Natural Gas Innovation Act pilot projects and Gas Integrated Resource Plans at the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission.
* Pushed utilities on Transportation Electrification Plans to cost-effectively expand EV charging infrastructure, including for renters who lack at-home charging options.
At a time when progress is being rolled back, Fresh Energy’s work is proving that Minnesotans can move forward — together. But we can’t do it without you.
Now more than ever, your support is essential to protecting climate progress and powering bold, state-level policies that benefit all Minnesotans. Please donate today [[link removed]] .
