Right now, under Pennsylvania law, lawmakers can accept unlimited gifts from anyone—lobbyists, corporations, and special interests—as long as they disclose items worth more than $250.

That is unacceptable.

Pennsylvanians deserve to know that decisions in Harrisburg are made in their best interests, not as favors to those with influence and deep pockets. That’s why I support gift ban legislation to increase trust in government.

I have never been afraid to take action to hold the powerful accountable. Whether it is demanding billionaires pay their fair share or fighting against corporate loopholes, I believe public trust is the foundation of good governance.

My vote is not for sale, and it never will be.
