A 2025 THANK YOU from the Stop The Bleed Coalition
Stop The Bleed Coalition | December 11, 2025
As we close out the year, we want to extend our deepest thank you to every Instructor, Ambassador and supporter who made the STOP THE BLEED® movement stronger in 2025. Your commitment to preparedness, education, and action is saving lives in real time, often before emergency responders ever arrive.
This year, the impact of the Stop the Bleed campaign reached farther than ever, and it’s all because of you. Together, we trained new lifesavers, expanded access to bleeding control education, equipped communities with critical tools, and strengthened a global movement rooted in preparedness and action.
Every training delivered, every kit placed, every story shared, and every life touched is a direct reflection of the incredible community behind this mission. You showed up in schools, hospitals, workplaces, community centers, and beyond, proving that lifesaving knowledge belongs in everyone’s hands.
We are endlessly grateful for your time, your voice, your passion, and your belief in the power of ordinary people to do extraordinary things. Thank you for standing with us this year, and for continuing to build a safer, more resilient world with the Stop the Bleed Coalition.
STOP THE BLEED® Legislative Update - Michigan
MHA | December 6, 2025
The bills HB 4108 and HB 4847 in the House, along with companion SB 590 and SB 591 in the Senate, have advanced out of the Senate Civil Rights, Judiciary and Public Safety Committee. These bills would expand the state Good Samaritan law to provide civil-immunity for individuals who apply bleeding-control (i.e. “Stop the Bleed”) techniques in emergencies before professional responders arrive. If HB 4108 and HB 4847 pass, individuals using bleeding-control techniques will be legally protected, reducing fear of liability and encouraging bystanders, trained or untrained, to act. This is a major step toward embedding STOP THE BLEED® readiness into law. The bipartisan support and recent committee approval suggest strong momentum for this legislation, bringing it closer to full Senate and (potentially) House passage, a huge win for the STOP THE BLEED® Program!
