John,
There is no doubt that we’re a country divided.
Democrats blame Republicans for what they say is the current dismal state of affairs in the country.
On the other side of the coin, Republicans blame Democrats for stalling progress, losing sight of what it means to be the “loyal opposition,” and throwing every roadblock in the way of President Trump and his administration that they can.
You know that I’m a Republican member of the Senate, and can infer what I think - or you can just visit my Twitter profile, my website, or my official Facebook page.
But I want to know what YOU, John, think about the first 11 months of the Trump Presidency, the recent government shutdown, and, in general, the direction of our country.

I’m hearing that a large number of voters are placing blame on Republicans for the recent 43-day government shutdown, but in all honesty, I’m struggling to see how.
Can you answer some questions that will give our team a better insight into the nation's current mood?
Are Democrats better messengers than we are? Do we need to refine our communication with the American people during times of national emergency?
Last year, President Trump led Republicans to one of the most historic victories of our time. I know you don’t want to see our majorities in Congress crumble, so I’m imploring you to let me know you’re thinking on several big questions of the day.

“ "I SERVED AS A NAVY SEAL, BUILT ONE OF THE LARGEST AERIAL FIREFIGHTING COMPANIES IN AMERICA CREATING OVER 200 MONTANA JOBS, AND STARTED A VETERAN-LED CATTLE RANCHING AND FEEDING OPERATION. WHETHER IT WAS IN WAR OR BUSINESS, I SEE PROBLEMS AND SOLVE THEM. AMERICA NEEDS CONSERVATIVE LEADERS WHO LOVE OUR COUNTRY. I'M RUNNING FOR THE U.S. SENATE BECAUSE OUR CAMPAIGN IS ABOUT SERVICE, DUTY, AND COUNTRY — NOT POLITICS AS USUAL."
