There are two proposals on the table: one that is a clean extension of the tax credits that help nearly 22 million people afford insurance coverage, and another offered by Republican lawmakers that goes further than ever to ban abortion coverage in the Affordable Care Act, and does nothing to actually make health care affordable for people. 

If lawmakers are serious about lowering health care costs for people, the choice is clear. I’m urging you to email your senator right now while there is still time and urge them to vote for a clean extension of the health care tax credits that people rely on.

BIG NEWS: Tomorrow the Senate votes on extending the health care tax credits that twenty million Americans rely on to keep their health care affordable. 

The tax credits that keep health care accessible for millions of Americans are going to expire come 2026, and already people are seeing that their bills will go up by thousands of dollars starting in January. And there is a possibility that anti-abortion lawmakers will hijack negotiations in order to attack reproductive health care and strip away abortion coverage from millions of people. 

We need the Senate to stand up for our care - it’s time to expand the tax credits and protect the basic health care that millions of Americans rely on and tomorrow, Congress votes on extending them. 

Send a letter to your Senator now - tell them to keep health care affordable. 

Together, we can send a clear message to Congress: health care must move forward, not backward.
