Team, I don’t come from money or power. In my career, I’ve been a “first” more than once.

Truly, the privilege of being your Governor means a lot to me, and it’s one I will never take for granted.

Growing up, my mom always taught me to take care of everyone, especially people who were being left behind. That mission is what inspires me to wake up every morning and keep standing up for our state.

But the truth is, nothing I do is thanks to me alone. It’s powered by people like you who believe in progress, good government, and taking care of our neighbors.
