The Dirty Deal is back. This time it's called the SPEED Act, which would make it easier for big projects that impact our neighborhoods and environment to move forward without first assessing how they affect us and ensuring they won't negatively impact our health.
This act would allow major federal actions like highways, water infrastructure, and transmission lines to be built without reviewing whether they displace Black and Brown communities, pollute our air and water, and add to existing negative public health outcomes from other polluting developments nearby.
Send a letter to your elected officials to let them know why the SPEED Act is bad for your community.
Thank you for supporting climate justice.
