We’re coming up on the final months of this election, and we may not have the resources we need to win.
DemocratsJoin us.

I've worked on enough campaigns to know that summer can be a tough time of year when it comes to fundraising. That’s true even when we’re not in the midst of a pandemic. But, John, that doesn't mean that our fundraising can slow down.

In fact, our fundraising pace in the summer months ahead of this election has to do the exact opposite -- it has to ramp up, and fast.

That's because the funds our party has on hand after this final full quarter before Election Day will be among the biggest determining factors in our budget for the rest of this election -- including our plans to get out the vote for Joe Biden. Right now is the exact time that the DNC, state parties, and campaigns up and down the ticket are finalizing their budgets, so your contribution to our party today could not come at a better time.

The reality is, we’re coming up on the final months of this election, and we need to speed up our fundraising pace if we are going to have the resources we need to help elect Joe Biden, flip the Senate, or hold our precious House majority. I completely understand that this is a difficult time for many people, so if you are in a position to donate, I’m asking for your support today on behalf of your fellow Democrats who may not be able to chip in at this stage in the race.

So, John, will you chip in your first $7 of 2020 to the Democratic Party today? Soon we’ll be making some final funding decisions, and your gift will help ensure that presumptive nominee Joe Biden and Democrats down the ballot have what they need to compete in the toughest races.

We have less time than you might think. If we have any chance of winning in the battleground states that could ultimately decide our chances of getting to 270, we need to direct our resources there now, while ads and organizers can still make a difference.

We can’t flip a state overnight, so we need to start executing the plans that will help Democrats win now -- but we can only do that with investments from party members like you, John.

So, if you can, will you make a $7 donation to the DNC today? Our candidates have momentum, and it’s on all of us to make sure they have the backing of a fully-funded Democratic Party in these final months before Election Day.

Thanks for your support,

Jessalyn

P.S. We’re making up ground each month, but Trump still has a huge cash advantage. Despite summer's reputation as a tough time to fundraise, we have to pick up our pace -- and fast. Your $7 today will help keep us in the fight through November.
