CONGRATULATIONS, RACHNA SIZEMORE HEIZER, INCOMING BRADDOCK DISTRICT SUPERVISOR! The unofficial results show that she won with 67% of the vote. By-mail ballots postmarked on Special Election Day and received by 12 PM Friday, and qualified provisional ballots will be counted this weekend.

  • Vigil at NRA Commemorating 13th Anniversary of Newtown Mass Shooting - Sun., Dec. 14 @ 2 PM; National Rifle Association. You are cordially invited to join our 156th vigil commemorating the 13 year anniversary of the Newtown mass shooting on Sunday, December 14, 2025 from 2:00-3:30pm in front of the NRA building at 11250 Waples Mill Road Fairfax VA 22030. We have been there every month through rain, shine, snow and covid without fail. Please dress for the weather and do not park in the NRA lot or you will be towed. Street parking is available on Waples Mill Road & Fairfax Ridge Road. Signs are provided or bring your own. All ages & friendly dogs are welcome!
