Though verbal conversations have never been part of their world, Logan feels their relationship runs deeper than anything words could express. Growing up beside Isaac taught her to observe closely, to listen with her eyes and her heart, and to recognize that communication comes in many meaningful forms. His unique combination of strengths, needs, and vibrant ways of engaging with the world instilled in her a profound sense of patience and a respect for neurodiversity.
Those lessons guided her own path in life. Today, Logan works as a Direct Support Professional, using her voice to advocate for people with disabilities, something she credits entirely to her life as Isaac’s sister.
In recent years, as Isaac has experienced more anxiety when routines shift or environments feel overwhelming, Logan and her family support him with calm reassurance and a deep understanding of the cues he uses to communicate his comfort or distress. And even though Logan no longer lives at home, she remains one of his greatest sources of security and joy. Their bond continues to thrive—quiet, steady, and beautifully unspoken, shaped every day by the unique way Isaac moves through the world and the unwavering love they share.
