Friend,

Across the country, the Trump administration is sending masked federal agents to abduct our immigrant neighbors — even people with DACA, who should be protected under the program, are being detained.

This makes last week’s reintroduction of the DREAM Act even more critical — this bipartisan bill offers a real solution to protect DACA recipients and immigrant youth from the threat of deportation and gives them a pathway to citizenship.

Hundreds of thousands of immigrant youth are living in uncertainty, facing the constant threat of detention and deportation. Send a message to your senators and demand that they cosponsor and pass the DREAM Act NOW. ([link removed])

NILC staff helped draft the original DREAM Act in 2001, and for more than two decades, we’ve advocated alongside immigrant communities to push this bill forward.

For years, the DREAM Act has had support across the political spectrum and among the American public. Even in today’s political climate, the bill was once again reintroduced by both a Democrat and a Republican — a powerful signal of its broad support.

We need your voice, friend. While DACA continues to be under attack in the courts, immigrant youth are being swept up in the Trump administration’s destructive mass deportation regime. We can’t wait a moment longer to protect their futures. The stakes are too high.

Join us in urging your senators to cosponsor and pass the DREAM Act NOW. ([link removed])
