LA Times: California sues over Trump immigration policy on indefinite detention of migrant children

Team,

We just filed a new lawsuit to stop the President’s attempt to strip protections away from migrant children.

This is the 57th time we've sued President Trump.

Again and again, we’ve seen the inhumanity. Putting children in cages. Denying migrants soap and toothbrushes. Separating toddlers from their mothers.

President Trump’s latest rule, allowing the prolonged detention of migrant children, is yet another callous step backward.

We’re not going to let the President succeed. But we can't win alone, team. Stand alongside us in this fight:

This administration has failed to follow the rules. And now the President wants to re-write them. We refuse to give in.
