A SWAT team was called to the location, which arrived in several BearCats. SkyCal was overhead when they shot gas through one window of the home. CBS 2 Rapper and influencer accused of raping 2 women in LA pleads not guilty A social media influencer and hip-hop artist is facing felony rape charges for allegedly sexually assaulting two women in Los Angeles earlier this year, the district attorney's office announced Tuesday. Clinton Adams, who goes by "Clintnlord" on social media, has been charged with three felony counts of forcible rape and one felony count of assault with the intent to commit rape. The 32-year-old from Northridge has 376,000 followers on Instagram and nearly 155,000 on TikTok. According to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, Adams allegedly sexually assaulted two women he lured to a vacant area that was impacted by the January wildfires. The assaults allegedly occurred during separate incidents this past summer. "These allegations describe predatory attacks carried out in an area still affected by the aftermath of the January wildfires," said L.A. County District Attorney Nathan Hochman in a statement. "Taking advantage of a historic disaster and causing severe harm to two women is despicable. These women showed courage by coming forward to report their assaults. Investigators believe there may be additional victims. Anyone who believes they were victimized or may be a witness is encouraged to contact the Los Angeles Police Department to make a report.” ABC 7 Thieves break into Bel Air home, steal a safe Police Tuesday continued to look for a group of thieves who broke into a Bel Air home last week and got away with the homeowners’ safe. The Los Angeles Police Department said officers responded to a home on Roscomare Road near Anzio Road last Friday at around 7:30 p.m. about a burglary. The homeowners, a husband and a wife, told police that four burglars came into their home as an accomplice waited for them in a getaway car outside. “They came through the side hedges, crawled through and then climbed the side locked gate,” one of the homeowners who declined to be identified told NBC Los Angeles Monday. Surveillance video footage also appeared to show at least two of the men, dressed in dark clothing, entering the property through the side hedges. Another man, also wearing dark-colored clothes, was seen climbing over the side gate. The homeowners said the men went into the house by breaking in through a glass door. It took them about seven minutes to steal the safe before taking off, the security video showed. “Our safe was stolen and they threw items in our laundry hamper,” the homeowners said, adding they are still trying to determine what else was taken. The LAPD said it’s continuing with the investigation. NBC 4 Masked men caught on surveillance casing Los Angeles condos for the third time this year For a Larchmont family, an unsettling pattern has returned yet again. According to a neighbor who shared surveillance video with KTLA, this is the third time since July that masked trespassers have been spotted casing their condo building, and each visit has left residents more fearful that the prowlers may eventually try to force their way inside. The latest incident was captured on home security footage, which shows two masked men climbing onto the property and peering into windows as if trying to determine whether anyone was home. At one point, the pair points toward the building before a motion sensor activates, prompting one of them to signal to the other to flee. The neighbor, who asked not to be identified, told KTLA he believes the same duo, and possibly a third person, has returned in July, October and as recently as last week. “It’s not even late night,” he said in an interview with KTLA’s Rachel Menitoff. “It is dark and kind of brazen that they do it that early. But I think they’re trying to target when they think people are out to dinner or not home from work yet.” KTLA 5 Narcotics, firearms seized in massive Southern California drug bust operation Authorities seized a substantial amount of narcotics and firearms during a large-scale drug bust in Southern California. The operation was a joint effort by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Bureau, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in Los Angeles and the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office. Multiple search warrants were executed at locations across Los Angeles and Ventura counties as part of an investigation into a large-scale drug distributor. While searching the locations, authorities found a significant amount of drugs and related evidence including: 10 wrapped packages, with each containing 10,000 M30 pills; 263 kilograms of methamphetamine; 19 kilograms of cocaine; 1 kilogram of heroin; four loaded handguns; two loaded, fully automatic submachine pistols; one loaded assault pistol; one loaded 7.62 caliber assault rifle; assorted caliber ammunition rounds; assorted pistol and rifle magazines; and an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency. Authorities did not provide information on any suspects arrested in connection with the case as the investigation remains ongoing. KTLA 5 Scammers are using AI to target holiday shoppers. Here's how to protect yourself As holiday shoppers continue to scour the Internet for the best deals this season, scammers and hackers are using artificial intelligence to dupe them for their own gain. Cybersecurity experts warn the public to stay vigilant this holiday season as crooks turn to technology to trick shoppers into buying fake products or providing their financial information. Because online shopping is so popular, there isn’t a particular demographic being targeted, so everyone is at risk, experts say. “They’re targeting anybody and everybody,” Cliff Steinhauer of the National Cybersecurity Alliance said. “They don’t discriminate, and it’s literally targeted towards anyone who shops online. They know that we’re looking for deals, they know we’re going to rush.”According to Steinhauer, these tech-savvy criminals use AI to turn old tricks into stronger and better scams. “They’ll clone a popular shopping website or a popular brand and stand up all the same products, but usually at a really steep discount, or it could be a completely fake product,” he said. “But they will basically take the payment information and kind of run off with the money.” NBC 4 FBI releases new photo of former Olympian Ryan Wedding wanted for alleged transnational drug trafficking The FBI has released a newly obtained photo of former Canadian Olympian Ryan Wedding, who is wanted for allegedly running and operating a transnational drug trafficking business. The photo of Wedding is believed to have been taken in Mexico during the summer of 2025, where he allegedly resides, the FBI said. The 44-year-old is on the FBI Top Ten Fugitive list and has been previously compared to other notorious drug traffickers like Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman and Pablo Escobar. Federal authorities allege Wedding is responsible for routinely shipping hundreds of kilograms of cocaine from Colombia, through Mexico and Southern California to Canada and other U.S. locations. Wedding is also accused of ordering multiple murders, including the murder of a federal witness in January 2025. At a news conference in November 2025, U.S. Attorney General Pamela Bondi described Wedding as the leader of one of the "most prolific and violent drug trafficking organizations in this world." She also said over the course of the federal government's investigation into Wedding's alleged drug organization, 35 individuals have been indicted, 2,000 kilos and numerous weapons have been seized and $3.2 million in cryptocurrency has been recovered. CBS 2 Firefighters Extinguish Fire at Downtown Building A fire at a two-story building in downtown Los Angeles was knocked down in 23 minutes by 28 Los Angeles Fire Department firefighters Tuesday evening. MyNewsLA Local Government News LA to start removing certain abandoned RVs from streets and dismantling them The city of Los Angeles will soon begin removing certain abandoned recreational vehicles (RVs) off the streets as a new state law is set to take effect next year, making it easier for city officials to dispose of the cars. The Los Angeles City Council Tuesday approved a plan to implement Assembly Bill (AB) 630 or the Abandoned Recreational Vehicles Act, which allows police officers or city employees to get rid of abandoned or inoperable RVs that are estimated to be $4,000 or less in value. Previously, local officials were only allowed to remove RVs whose estimated value is $500 or less. AB 630, which only applies to LA and Alameda counties, passed the state legislature and was signed into law by Governor Gavin Newsom on Oct. 13. In a 13-2 vote, the city council approved the proposal as it will get updates on how the RV removal law is being implemented across the city. Councilmembers Hugo Soto-Martinez and Eunisses Hernandez cast the no vote.
