As you may know, the Senate is preparing to vote tomorrow on an extension of the enhanced premium tax credits, which would protect families from devastating premium hikes that put affordable health care coverage farther out of reach. Families USA encourages you to reach out to your Senators via phone, email, and socials urging them to support a clean extension of the enhanced health care tax credits now!
The plan that Senate Democrats have put forth — which would secure a three-year, clean extension — is the best proposal that will get voted on by the end of the year. If passed, it would allow for the largest number of people who are currently enrolled in Marketplace coverage to maintain their health coverage without additional restrictions.
We need your help to keep the pressure on! Passage will ensure that Congress acts within the calendar year to preserve affordable coverage options for millions of individuals and families as we head into January.

Instead of addressing the high cost of care this year, Congress passed a harmful budget bill that slashed health care funding and failed to make care more affordable.
