Hi folks, it’s Josh Stein, Governor of North Carolina. I know this is a busy time of year, so I’ll keep this brief – this email is only 8 sentences long, but I hope you’ll read every single one of them.

I’ll get straight to the point: GOP politicians are coming after our health care, but Dem govs are fighting back.

Republicans in Washington are relentlessly attacking Americans’ health – whether it’s cutting a trillion dollars from Medicaid to pay for a billionaire tax break, or letting Affordable Care Act subsidies expire so insurance prices will skyrocket by hundreds of dollars per month for millions of Americans.

The federal government has abandoned our people, but Democratic governors like me won’t. We’ll work with our states so folks can continue receiving the care they need to stay healthy, strengthen our rural health care systems, and save lives – but we need your support in this fight.
