As Trump’s Secretary of Health and Human Services, he has set public health in the US back by decades and put his unfounded conspiracies over the lives of his fellow Americans.

Kennedy’s views on vaccines are perhaps his most harmful, false, and anti-science.

We learned recently that he personally instructed the CDC to abandon its longstanding position — and the scientific consensus — that vaccines do not cause autism. Now we’ve learned that RFK’s hand-picked CDC panel is rolling back recommendations for hepatitis B shots for babies.

This comes after an entire year of spreading misinformation about vaccines as a government official and refusing to use his position as head of HHS to promote the facts and reassure Americans that vaccines are safe and effective.

The devastating results of this failed leadership are already clear.

The US is now facing an unprecedented modern Measles outbreak thanks to falling vaccination rates. Pertussis — whooping cough — is making a comeback, with at least five kids dying from this entirely preventable disease this year.

If we do not get public health back on track, kids and adults alike will suffer, they will get sick, and they will die.
