July is Disability Pride Month, where we celebrate and honor each person’s uniqueness.

We must continue to advocate for a more inclusive society and address systemic ableism.

And, we must ensure more support for worker-focused businesses that provide opportunities at all skill levels.

One such business is Plantables in Hudson, WI, who I visited in early March.

I met with individuals who had skills, but needed jobs that met their skill levels; indeed, these individuals are abled when provided the opportunity.

We must support worker-focused businesses like this one, and continue to work towards a more inclusive society for people with all disabilities.
