👏 From Comcast to Climate Gardens: A Year of Wins

2025 is almost over. It was a year of heartbreaking challenges and setbacks in Washington. But thanks to the support of our members and the work of our talented staff, it was also a year of great progress in creating a green economy. Before we enter the New Year, we’d like to reflect on all the amazing things we—Green America and supporters like you—were able to accomplish this year:

We saved over 1 million acres of beautiful California wilderness and protected communities by defeating two massive wood pellet biomass plants.

We got Comcast to more than DOUBLE its clean energy.

We DOUBLED our regenerative agriculture footprint to 500,000 verified acres! That’s almost half as large as Rhode Island.

35,000 gardens are now registered as Climate Victory Gardens—meaning people like you are turning their backyards into productive gardens that capture carbon for the climate.

Over 250,000 people learned how to move their money to responsible banks and insurance companies using Green America’s resources. That’s thousands of people putting their money into institutions that value impact over profit.

Green Americans sent over 1,223,400 messages to corporate executives and legislators to take action to build a greener economy.

Toxic chemicals removed in 800 electronics facilities, 30+ countries, working with Apple, HP, and Dell.

All those achievements were possible thanks to people like you participating in our campaigns against bad corporate actors and taking action in your daily lives. ⚡The AI Boom Is Here—Let’s Make It 100% Clean

In the New Year, we’re taking on Artificial Intelligence and the Big Tech companies that are putting their profits over communities and the climate in the race to AI. AI has been making waves, and not all for the right reasons. Data centers that power AI are notorious energy hogs, and tech companies are increasingly using fossil fuels to power them.
