"Send her back!" MAGA crowd rages as Trump attacks House Democrat with heinous lies, demonizes immigrants from "filthy" countries
America's wannabe dictator has clearly had a rough go of things lately, what with being directly implicated in the Epstein files, losing one winnable election after another in so-called "Trump country," and overseeing the spectacular collapse of an economy that was humming along before he returned to office. So dear ol' Don resorted to what he knows best: fomenting hate and throwing xenophobic red meat to the red-hatted masses. At a MAGA pep rally in Pennsylvania yesterday, the imbecile-in-chief veered off script during a speech ostensibly about affordability to discuss the one, burning issue on every Pennsylvanian's mind: Somali immigrants living in Minnesota. Trump began, "Do we have any individuals from Somalia in the group? Please raise your hand. That’s for Minnesota." He continued, "I love this Ilhan Omar, whatever the hell her name is, with the little turban. I love her. She comes in, does nothing but bitch. She’s always complaining. She comes from her country, where, I mean, it’s considered about the worst country in the world, right? We oughta get her the hell out. She married her brother in order to get in, right? She married her brother. Can you imagine if Donald Trump married his sister? Beautiful. She’s a beautiful person. If I married my sister to get my citizenship, do you think I’d last for about two hours? Or would it be something less than that? She married her brother to get in. Therefore, she’s here illegally. She should get the hell out. Throw her the hell out. She does nothing but complain." And the 👏 crowd 👏 went 👏 wild. Now, it would be easy to take pot shots at the so-called basket of deplorables in the audience yesterday, but we cannot lose focus on the bigger picture: the president of the United States is targeting a sitting member of Congress with hate speech and putting an entire immigrant community in danger for personal political gain. None of this is normal.

VIDEO OF THE DAY: Democrats flip key Republican mayoral seat for first time in 28 years
For the first time in nearly three decades, Miami elected a Democrat as mayor, and it wasn't even close. Eileen Higgins easily vanquished the Trump-backed GOP candidate, Emilio Gonzalez, by 19 points in a race Republicans won just four years ago by a whopping 67 points. But keep playing the hits at those rallies, Donald. Really resonating with voters from sea to shining sea right now!

Trump regime takes an axe to our national parks
Our beloved parks have never been in greater danger. A severe staffing crisis, fossil fuel and mining development and proposed budget cuts that would cripple park operations and resource protection are all threatening the vast expanses of pristine beauty that bring so much joy to so many families from all over the world. Will you chip in to help protect the future of our national treasures?
Laura Ingraham confronts Trump adviser after layoffs hit nearly two million this year: "What is that?"
Ooh, ooh! We'll take this one: an unmitigated economic disaster brought on by a catastrophically stupid tariff crusade; the maniacal and deeply cynical campaign to "DOGE" America's functioning bureaucracy by a ketamine-addled sociopath; a calamitous, 43-day government shutdown; and depraved economic policies aimed at increasing the wealth of the already obnoxiously rich at the expense of nearly everyone else? Something like that?
Democrat flips gerrymandered Georgia state House seat, pulling off huge special election upset
Add another check mark in the Dems' W column, folks! Eric Gisler, a tech executive and small business owner in Athens, Georgia, pulled off a remarkable upset in a state House district Republicans recently gerrymandered to specifically dilute Democratic representation in the increasingly blue college town. Alas, GOP efforts to disenfranchise constituents in House District 121 came up a few hundred votes short as Gisler bested Republican candidate Mack "Dutch" Guest IV in yet another sign of Democrats' surging popularity in the Peach State. Gisler's campaign focused on — surprise! — affordability and access to quality healthcare. Funny how that message just keeps resonating with folks at a time when the cost of living is skyrocketing and wealth inequality is at an all-time high.

Hosting 2026 World Cup to cost US cities upwards of $250 million after "worst deal in history"
There's something strangely poetic about America's most infamous grifter and sham artist centering himself at the heart of the most brazenly corrupt sporting spectacle on earth. Trump gleefully draping himself in FIFA's flag while the organization's unscrupulous kingpin Gianni Infantino openly screws over America's host cities — to the tune of a quarter billion dollars — is so on brand you just might see Donald blush through all the bronzer. For a guy who fancies himself the world's preeminent deal maker, it sure didn't take much — a fake peace prize and a Village People performance — to direct his fleeting attention away from the shambolic and exploitative arrangement laid out right in front of his face. The world's most "beautiful game" may be played with feet, but this sure does feel more like a racket.
Trump says it is "seditious" and "treasonous" to question his mental health
Hey Siri, how many hundreds of times did Donald Trump question Joe Biden's mental health and cognitive capabilities while he was in office?
Just 0.001% hold three times the wealth of poorest half of humanity, report finds
This shockingly immoral statistic and deeply destabilizing trend is obviously no cause for alarm and will in no way end in some combination of catastrophe, revolution, and/or wholesale ruin. Let's definitely carry on as if all of this is super normal and simply "how capitalism works."
