We sued the Trump Administration again — and we won.
A federal court has ruled that Trump’s attempt to freeze wind energy development nationwide was unlawful. That decision vacates his Day One directive that ordered federal agencies to halt all approvals for onshore and offshore wind projects indefinitely.
Trump’s directive didn’t just threaten clean energy goals. It threatened reliable and affordable power, thousands of union jobs, and billions already invested in infrastructure and workforce development. It even put at risk the progress being made on five offshore wind leases off California’s coast — projects designed to bring enough clean energy online to power 1.6 million homes.
And of course — it was illegal.
This is what it looks like to stand up to a president who’s intent on making life more expensive and less secure for Californians. When the Trump administration breaks the law, we go to court — and with the facts on our side, we win.
These victories matter because they show what’s possible when Californians stand together. And with more legal battles on the horizon, I need to know I can count on you.
Will you add your support today so we can keep taking on this lawless administration and fighting for California’s future?
