John,

Chrissy and I are incredibly saddened to learn of the loss of our dear colleague and friend, a true American hero and titan of the Civil Rights Movement, Congressman John Lewis.

We will never forget traveling to Selma, Montgomery, and Birmingham with Congressman Lewis and the privilege of seeing those places through his eyes. It left an indelible mark on us. It’s an experience and trip we’ll never forget.

Congressman Lewis will forever be a source of inspiration and resolve in our continued struggle for justice and equality.

Let us pay respect to his legacy by continuing to advocate for justice and equality under the law. Decades after he risked his life fighting to pass the Voting Rights Act, it should be easier to vote, not harder.

I pledge to continue that struggle and never forget the lessons the Congressman so graciously taught.

Sincerely,

Mike
