As the COVID-19 pandemic pushes health systems to the brink in countries around the world, women and girls are among those at greatest risk. Essential sexual and reproductive health services have been reduced or cut, threatening sharp rises in maternal and neonatal mortality. Women and girls are often denied care outright or face dangerous delays getting the services they need.
