Team--a quick note as we head into week 2 of this campaign.

When we say that Cory Gardner is one of the most beatable Republicans in the country, here's what we mean. Public Policy Polling says:

Hickenlooper - 51% support
Gardner - 38% support

That's right. As of the latest poll, we're leading by 13 points.

But those poll numbers are no reason to sit back and relax. I've been in Colorado politics for a while, and let me tell you--things can change on a dime.

The other side is seeing the same numbers we are. It won't take long for his corporate PAC donors and the GOP establishment to swoop in and try to smear John and our campaign.

Gardner has nearly $5 million in the bank. We need to start closing that gap so we're ready to fend off the attacks that'll fly our way as the GOP pulls out every trick they have to keep this seat.
