The federal government’s sweeping cuts to treatment, overdose prevention, Medicaid, and public health—combined with renewed calls for harsher criminal penalties—are putting countless lives and decades of progress at risk.
And still, we remain steadfast.
In the year ahead, DPA will be fighting to protect the reforms we’ve won… expand life-saving overdose prevention services… secure real investments in care, treatment, and public health... and push back against dangerous increases in criminalization.
