John, we wanted to let you know exactly what’s happening with The Montana Plan.

First, we filed our constitutional initiative and ballot statement language with the Secretary of State’s office, and the Attorney General’s office after that.

Then, the Attorney General added a not-so-unanticipated roadblock. We have appealed to the Montana Supreme Court, who accepted, and now we patiently await their decision.

Now, we need help from supporters like you to chip in so we can get past this lawsuit and get on the Montana ballot!

To qualify for the 2026 election, we have a goal of collecting 100,000 signatures — but we can’t start until we move past this hurdle. A wave of grassroots support will ensure we don’t lose any of the progress we have so far.
