Betsy DeVos has got to go, friend. She’s always acted in the best interest of Donald Trump and GOP donors — never educators or students — and showed her true colors once again when she demanded that schools reopen in the middle of a pandemic, threatening to cut funding to schools that do not comply.

Pramila has called for Betsy Devos’ immediate resignation. Join her by signing our petition to say that for the safety and futures of our students and educators, Betsy DeVos must go.

From enabling predatory for-profit colleges to rolling back protections for children of color, LGBTQ+ students, and student survivors of assault and harassment to allowing schools to use federal money to buy guns, Betsy DeVos has shown time and time again that she is not fit for the position of Education Secretary.

To add insult to injury, she hasn’t provided guidance on how schools might handle the realistic possibility of an outbreak inside their doors if they reopen. She has no problem carrying out her radical privatization agenda at the expense of the lives of students and educators.
