Meet the people whose lives you’re helping change.
--------------------------------------------------

Hi Friend,

Over 38 million Americans live with diabetes—and behind every
diagnosis is a story of strength, perseverance, and hope.

When you support the American Diabetes Association® (ADA), you
help fuel life-changing breakthroughs in care, expand access to
critical resources, and empower families across the country. And
right now, your gift can go 4X further to make an even greater
impact.

Let us introduce you to two incredible individuals whose
journeys show just how powerful your support can be.

Meet Precious.

Diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at just 9 years old, Precious
has endured serious complications, including kidney failure,
dialysis, and multiple kidney and pancreas transplants. But
through every setback, she grew stronger. While undergoing
treatment, she earned both her master’s degree and PhD, turning
her experience into purpose. Today, she’s a passionate advocate
for early detection, diabetes education, and greater access to
care—helping others find hope and strength in their own journeys.

Your support helps ensure more people like Precious

receive the care, resources, and encouragement they need—and
today, your gift will go 4X further to make that possible.

Meet Kevin.

Kevin’s diabetes diagnosis at 21 led to years of
confusion—first labeled type 2, then type 1, and later suspected
to have MODY (maturity-onset diabetes of the young), a rare form
of diabetes. Without access to proper testing, he struggled to
get the right treatment. But he never gave up. He found strength
in running—from trail 5Ks to ultramarathons—proving mile after
mile that diabetes can’t stop him. Today, with a strong medical
team by his side, he’s racing toward a healthier future while
raising awareness for others.

Your gift helps more people like Kevin
( [link removed] ) get the
right diagnosis and care. And with the 4X match, you’ll create
four times more hope.
