Team Hickenlooper here.

If you saw John’s email about the brewpub days, you probably noticed something important in the story: Wynkoop succeeded because everyday folks showed up. Not once. Not in giant waves. But steadily, consistently, pint by pint.

That’s the same approach we’re counting on right now.

Before we go further, if you want to jump in and boost our numbers before the end-of-year deadline, here’s the link: [[link removed]]

DONATE NOW → [[link removed]]

Here’s why this matters. Our opponents and the national Republican groups behind them are already studying our fundraising patterns to figure out whether this grassroots team is still as strong as it was in 2020. And with the kind of money we know they’re preparing to spend, we can’t afford to fall behind early.

A steady base of small-dollar donations shows strength. It shows staying power. It shows them that Colorado is ready for the fight ahead, and not just at the eleventh hour.

This is one of those moments when the basics matter. And that means we’re counting on people like you to help us put up the kind of early-December numbers that prove this team is still fired up.

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

Donate $25 → [[link removed]]

Donate $50 → [[link removed]]

Thanks for stepping up when it counts.

Howdy, it’s John.

Before I tell you what’s on my mind, if you already know you want to help us finish the year strong, you can use this link here:

Long before I ever walked into the world of politics, I was pouring my energy into Wynkoop Brewing Company, Colorado's first brewpub. Back in those early days, we offered pints for about $2.25 each. It was a bargain even back then, but when you’re starting a small business, you’ve got to keep your prices as low as you can. The couple of bucks we got for each and every one of those pints was precious.

But Wynkoop wasn’t just about serving beer. It was a place where people came together, sat across from folks they didn’t always know or agree with, and still managed to build relationships, to work out their differences. That spirit shaped how our team sees public service. You listen. You stay curious. You try to solve problems instead of making them worse.

Washington could use a little more of that spirit right now.

Instead of working together to lower costs, strengthen communities, or protect people’s freedoms, we’re seeing decisions that leave rural hospitals, veterans, and working families in constant anxiety. With so many important fights ahead, we need to make sure this grassroots team stays strong enough to keep pushing back.

That’s why I’m asking for your help today. If you can spare the cost of two pints at Wynkoop — about five bucks back in the day — it would make a real difference for our campaign. [[link removed]]

Every small donation keeps this movement growing, and it shows that regular people are the ones powering this work.

Thanks for reading this, and thanks for being part of this team.

Cheers,

John
