Donald Trump is expected to brag about his “economic plan” and insist he’s “lowering costs.” But let’s be honest — he’s lying.

His tariffs are driving prices higher, and two-thirds of Americans believe he’s failing to deliver on his promises to make life more affordable and strengthen the economy.

Republicans have controlled the federal government for nearly a year, and their agenda is clear: cut healthcare and food assistance, pass erratic tariffs that make everything more expensive, and even shut down the government to avoid acting on affordable healthcare.
