I say it all the time, but it’s never been more true: This job is about delivering real results — not the political noise.

I’m one of the most targeted members of Congress, and outside Republican groups have already spent hundreds of thousands of dollars attacking me. As a DCCC Frontline member, I know the road ahead won’t be easy.

But through all of that, I stay focused on what matters for Nevada families.

This week, I celebrated a major bipartisan win: a newly signed law I championed to help prevent youth substance abuse and save lives.

The TREAT Youth Act — which I co-led with Republican Congresswoman Jen Kiggans — funds essential programs to support young people at risk of drug use, addiction, and overdose. It passed with overwhelming bipartisan support, and it was just signed into law.

Here’s what this law delivers:

• Prevention and recovery programs for youth

• Training for health care providers, educators, and families

• Expanded access to lifesaving treatment

• Increased federal funding to fight the opioid crisis

I’ve seen firsthand how addiction affects kids in southern Nevada. This law is about saving lives and giving our next generation the support they deserve.
