Hi, it’s Warren with today’s $10 Tuesday.
As we are approaching Christmas, my siblings and I have been talking about one of our favorite traditions with our dad, Ralph.
Every year, in the weeks leading up to Christmas and even into the New Year, dad starts his big barbeque. And when I say big, I mean it takes three or four days. He wakes up early, tends the meat all day, checks it again late at night, and he enjoys every minute of it.
When everything is ready, we pack it all up. Sometimes we bring it out to the farm, which is a special place to him. Sometimes we take it to the beach. Most of the time, though, dad sets aside a big portion of what he made so he can deliver sandwiches to friends and neighbors.
