Dear friend,
Thank you. Whether you gave on GivingTuesday, amplified our message, or simply stood with us in spirit, you were part of a day that reminded us how unstoppable we are when we show up for each other. In a moment when harm reduction is under attack across the country, your solidarity means everything.
Because of you, NHRC keeps fighting. We uplift frontline harm reduction workers through vital technical assistance, build peer power for people with lived and living experience, expand access to naloxone, drug testing strips, and sterile syringes, and advocate for systemic change to support our communities that have been targeted. We do this work in solidarity with the communities most harmed by the so-called “War on Drugs,” including Black, Native, Latine/x, and queer communities.
This work cannot wait, and it is made possible by people like you who step up when it matters most. As we close out the year, we invite you to join us and save the date for NHRC’s end-of-year campaign launch on December 18! It’s our final fundraising push of 2025, a moment to invest in the life-saving work that supports the people we love and serve, so we can enter the new year with renewed strength and the same purpose that has guided us for 30 years.
We ask you to consider making a gift today or anytime through December 31, no matter how small or large. Your support helps us continue to meet the moment with courage, compassion, and action.
With deep gratitude and hope,
Laura Guzman, JD
