Minnesota is a national leader in democracy.

* We have one of the highest voter turnout rates in America.
* We passed automatic voter registration and restored the freedom to vote for thousands of returning citizens.
* We strengthened access for tribal nations and created pre-registration for students.

But this progress is under threat.

* The Trump Administration has already threatened to ban voting by mail.
* They demanded private data for millions of Minnesota voters.
* They weakened the federal agencies that help protect election security.
* And they have refused to reassure us that they will stay out of state-run elections in 2026.

These are not hypothetical risks. They are happening now.

Here in Minnesota, we have pushed back every step of the way. We sued the administration and won. We refused to turn over private voter data. And we are preparing for every scenario to keep our election fair, accurate, honest, and secure.

But I cannot do this alone. Not in this moment.
