John – This election cycle is really bringing out the worst attacks against me from enraged Democrats!
The latest to get personal with the partisan venom is former Missouri Senator, Claire McCaskill. Poor Senator McCaskill is so angry about my support for President Donald Trump she sank to calling me a "POS" on Twitter – and continued her personal, petty attack on MSNBC where she blasted me as a "slug." I've said it before: when leftists like former Senators McCaskill, Barbara Boxer, Hillary Clinton, and the rest of the Hollywood elites vent their anger against me, I never get rattled. I heard much worse growing up in my parent's bar and pool room in Central, SC. But it does show us just how desperately the Democrats want to defeat me in November – like the unprecedented cash flowing into my opponent's war chest – over $21 million since January! We're being outraised and battered in the media by my opponent, his PAC allies, and national liberal elites. John, we must increase our pace to stay ahead in this race. Will you please help make sure we have the resources we need to counter the Democrats' attacks? The heat on me will only get worse, and we must be ready to respond.
