Yesterday was Texas’ official filing deadline for candidates running for Congress in the 2026 midterm elections.  

Lizzie has drawn challengers in her race for re-election next year.  But we’re building on our strong coalition to re-elect Lizzie—just as we always have done—and we want to make sure you’re a part of it.  If you haven’t already, add your name here and endorse Lizzie for re-election.

We know that Lizzie is a proven and effective leader who fights for Texans and their priorities—like access to affordable health care, lower costs, and fair maps and fair representation in Texas.  Lizzie is focused on getting things done for our state, and she’s also focused on electing more strong Democrats up and down the ballot, in Texas and across the country, to help Democrats take back the House and hold the Trump administration accountable.

We also know that the Texas map that the Supreme Court has now permitted to go into effect for the 2026 elections betrays the fundamental principle that all Texans should have a say in our government.  Lizzie is counting on everyone on #TeamLizzie to work together to help make sure this racist redistricting plan backfires, and that Texas Democrats win back these seats and more.

And we do that by winning at the ballot box every single race we can next November, including Lizzie’s re-election in TX07.
