Every year, New American Leaders alumni prove just how much power there is in our communities when New Americans step up to lead. Whether they are preparing to run for office or sharpening their advocacy skills, these emerging leaders are turning their lived experience into bold action to build a democracy that truly works for all of us.

Our 2025 cohort was no exception. This year, we welcomed 259 new NALpistas from 26 states and Washington, D.C. into our programs. Their diversity, rich perspectives, and dedication to public service are exactly the elements we need to build a more inclusive democracy. They are now part of a nationwide network of more than 2,000 New American leaders who are running campaigns, serving in office, and organizing in their communities.
