Enhanced tax credits expire Dec. 31 - ACT NOW!

Advocate,
Time is running out.
On Dec. 31, enhanced Advanced Premium Tax Credits (eAPTCs) are set to expire unless Congress acts ([link removed]). These credits have been a lifeline to care for millions of Americans -- including families living with cystic fibrosis -- by making health coverage more affordable and accessible.

Since their introduction, eAPTCs have dramatically lowered premiums for people buying coverage through the ACA marketplace by boosting the amount of financial support available and expanding eligibility to more middle-income families. The result has been transformative: marketplace enrollment has more than doubled from about 11 million to over 24 million people, with the vast majority of those enrolled now relying on enhanced tax credits to afford their coverage.
If eAPTCs expire, premiums will rise sharply, forcing some to either drop their coverage or forgo insurance entirely ([link removed]). For people with cystic fibrosis, who rely on consistent, affordable coverage to access life-saving treatments, that disruption isn't just costly -- it's dangerous. These impacts could also ripple across the entire health system, threatening coverage stability and driving up costs for everyone.

Your advocacy is essential ([link removed]). Thank you for raising your voice and standing with the CF community. Together, we can make sure families don't lose the coverage they need.
With gratitude,
David Elin
