Let’s keep it real: ICE isn’t “failing” to follow its policy against detaining pregnant women, postpartum parents, and nursing mothers. They are deliberately violating it. ICE was built for brutality, and it’s doing exactly what it was designed to do.
Right now, women are having babies in filthy cells. Nursing mothers are being denied water and basic medical care. ICE knows this is illegal under its own rules, and it’s doing it anyway.
Why? Because this is Trump’s blueprint. His immigration machine was crafted to terrorize women, break families, and declare that your pregnancy, your body, and your humanity are disposable.
This isn’t incompetence. It’s punishment. It’s misogyny with handcuffs. It’s fascism with a federal badge.
This doesn’t stop with tweaks or polite requests. It stops when we remove the architect and dismantle the agency carrying out his cruelty.
