You did it! With your help, our ‘Double Your Donation’ Big Give Christmas Challenge raised an incredible £40,000 towards our ongoing Comfort & Joy appeal.

Your generous and kind donations will help Born Free enrich the lives of traumatised animals, helping them recover and live content and fulfilled lives.

We give a second chance to animals who are:

• Victims of wildlife trafficking and the cruel illegal pet trade

• Injured and orphaned in the wild – often due to human activity

• Exploited in captivity – in appalling zoos, circuses and shows

There’s still time to change lives

Whenever possible, rescued individuals are released to the wild - but unfortunately in many cases, they have already suffered too much, and are too unhealthy or lack the skills they would need to survive.

With your support, we give these animals a loving, lifetime home in spacious enclosures at our world-class sanctuaries, or those of our partners.
