Over the last six days, this community has come together to secure over £56,000 of funding for our campaigns for debt cancellation in 2026! Honestly, I’m blown away. But we still have a little left to raise to hit our fundraising target.

The Big Give match pot closes in just a few hours – at noon today. Up till then, anything you can chip in will still be doubled. We’re now so close to our target – could you help us get over the finish line? Every single pound will take us one step closer.

I’m already excited about next year, friend. Jubilee 2025 has made this year a special one – with hundreds of thousands joining the call for debt cancellation. Money raised through the Big Give will make sure we can take forward the momentum of the Jubilee Year.

I’m looking forward to working with you to build on our progress and keep piling the pressure on our government until they act. Together, we can push the government to pass a new debt justice law – and stop money from lower-income countries being diverted away from healthcare, education and tackling the climate crisis, by forcing unscrupulous lenders to cancel debts.

Our allies in the global south tell us what a difference this would make to their lives and those of the millions living on the frontline of the debt crisis. As campaigners in the UK, we are in a unique position to be able to make it happen.

Together we have made sure our campaign has already taken some huge strides forward. I’m excited about building on our progress next year, and I’m so glad to have you there with us as we take the next steps together.
