Friend,

Despite the fact our country continues to face a major, deadly virus — the Trump administration called on the Supreme Court to strike down the Affordable Care Act. This is outrageous, friend. Lives are at stake, and there's no question that people need access to affordable care.

If the administration gets their way, as many as 23 million Americans could lose their health care coverage. We can't let that happen.

Mayor Stoney has always been a champion for affordable health care. Please join the Mayor in demanding President Trump keep the ACA intact. Sign the petition now. [[link removed]]

Since taking office, Mayor Stoney proposed Richmond's first-ever Doula Fund to provide care to women who are expecting, new mothers, and children. He's also invested in preventative care like controlling health hazards caused by lead-based paint in homes and apartments.

The Mayor understands the basic principle that health care is a human right. No one should have to choose between putting food on the table or seeing the doctor. But that hasn't stopped Trump and his extreme allies in Virginia from trying to wipe out health care coverage.

This isn't the first time the Trump administration has tried to gut the ACA. Richmonders and Americans alike need affordable care, so it's time to fight back.

Add your name next to Mayor Stoney's to demand Trump keep his hands OFF the ACA. Sign the petition now. [[link removed]]

Thank you,

Team Stoney
