Now we know the truth is even worse than anyone imagined. Federal prosecutors
confirm that stolen Minnesota welfare funds were moved overseas and ended up
benefiting terrorists organizations like Al-Shabaab.

Taxpayer money meant for kids in need was diverted into international criminal
networks. Criminals and their families are living in luxury overseas on our
dime!

That should shake every Minnesotan.

This is exactly why I authored the Fraud Accountability and Recovery (FAR) Act
— to ensure the United States can finally recover stolen funds and shut off aid
to any foreign government that shields criminals who defraud the American
people.
