Happy holidays, everyone! As we roll into December, our team of organizers and community leaders are continuing the urgent work across our neighborhoods of listening to the needs of folks here and engaging voters at their homes, where they eat and shop, community events, and festivities across the district. This campaign is a "we," never a "me." And the only way we continue to move forward is together.
On that note, as we hit the shops this season - think local! It's one way we can best support our local communities. S mall businesses drive our local economy and put money back into our community infrastructure, schools, and health care systems.
You can read more about the positive impact of shopping local here [[link removed]] .

Issue Spotlight: Stay Happy and Healthy
Recently, Trump dismissed “affordability” as a Democratic “con job,” when in reality, affordability is what allows families to keep a roof over their heads, put food on the table, and pay for basic care. For most people, it’s not political. It’s survival.
Two weeks ago, the campaign announced an Affordable [[link removed]] L.I.F [[link removed]] [[link removed]] . [[link removed]] [[link removed]] E. [[link removed]] , a policy platform with four clear policy tenets: local housing, income, food, and essential healthcare. When your rent rises, your income remains stagnant, food prices soar, and the cost to care for your children and family becomes out of reach, you’re left living in fear about what tomorrow can bring.
When I am elected, I will fight to make life affordable for working families, seniors, veterans, students — all of us. That means protecting you from losing your ACA subsidies, lowering health care and prescription drug costs, making sure social security doesn't go away, childcare is accessible, and ensuring our communities have the resources they need to stay warm, safe, and supported.
Let’s build a district where everyone has the chance to live with dignity, stability, and hope.

Callie on the road 🚗
[[link removed]] The best part of running for office is sitting down with incredible people meeting the moment across this district - nonprofit organizers delivering clothes and food to those without, teachers challenging students to find truth and conviction, first responders trekking through bad weather to help those in need, small business owners tackling the challenges of running a business in the midst of uncertainty, every day people writing letters to the editor demanding voice and change. These folks shape who and what this campaign is - a campaign by us and for us.
And with that, if you haven't already - join us!
