We debated whether or not to send this email.

When it comes to campaigning, our motto has always been to focus on our
record, and not give any extreme right-wing opponents any free publicity.

But even if we don’t talk about them much, the reality is we have to take
our Republican challengers seriously. Even when our challengers don’t win,
the disinformation they spread can discredit our movement if we don’t
fight back.

Now, we officially have a MAGA challenger for 2026, and she's fundraising.

$5 today to support Alexandria and ensure we have the
resources to win next year? When thousands of people give what they can,
it shows the power of this movement.

Here are a few facts about our opponent:

* She paid George Santos a lot of money to consult on the 2022 election.
She paid George Santos’ consulting firm $110,320 and hers was the only
campaign to ever report working with the firm.

* Her campaign may have been part of a scam run by George Santos. A
donor who gave to Santos had their credit card charged for additional,
unauthorized donations — including two maxed-out $2,900 contributions
to her campaign. ^1

* She participated in the January 6 Insurrection rally.

* She is associated with the white supremacist Proud Boys and proudly
posted a photo of herself with their leaders.

With MAGA extremists emboldened, we need the resources to fight
misinformation like never before and defeat our challenger in 2026.

We know that the 2026 elections are far away but our work to keep
Alexandria in the House, fighting for all of us, starts now. [ [link removed] ]Can you
