Dear Friend,
I recently returned from our Festival in Buenos Aires, Argentina. On Friday night, the temperature plunged and a steady rain fell. Despite the gloomy weather, more than 30,000 people gathered in Buenos Aires’ Vélez Stadium, one of the city’s iconic soccer venues. What a sight to see so many men, women, and children in colorful rain ponchos walk forward at the invitation—including Paula and Ramiro.
The mother and son were living hard lives in one of Buenos Aires’ poorest neighborhoods, but both felt a burden lifting as they listened to the Good News of Jesus Christ. They stood together to pray in repentance and faith and joyfully surrendered their lives to the Lord. To God alone belongs the glory for the more than 8,000 people who told us they made life-changing decisions for Jesus Christ during the two-day outreach.
Will you lift these new brothers and sisters up to the Lord? Pray that they will be “strengthened in faith, giving glory to God” (Romans 4:20, NKJV).
