In May, China stopped buying U.S. soybeans because of Trump’s actions. Then he tried to make it look better with promises about boosting exports. But guess what? Those promises are still empty. Not surprising, but still frustrating.

I know trade. I know markets. I know how one bad decision in Washington can destroy a season, a livelihood, and a family farm. Watching politicians who’ve never grown a crop play power games with our livelihood is unacceptable.
