Dear Friends,
California YIMBY and our allies won huge victories in 2025. Our legislative champions stood up when it counted, and took hard votes on transformative housing bills like SB 79 and AB 130.
While we made substantial progress this year toward building a more affordable, sustainable, and prosperous California for everyone, we still have work to do – and we still need housing champions in the state legislature to help get that work done.
That's why the California YIMBY Victory Fund is announcing our first endorsements for 2026 – incumbents for state offices who are committed to solving California’s housing crisis through bold, evidence-based policy.
We need your help to re-elect these candidates. By donating to the California YIMBY Victory Fund, you can help elect the pro-housing leaders we need to end the housing shortage.
Will you become a regular monthly donor to the California YIMBY Victory Fund and help elect housing champions in 2026?

Our first endorsements for this cycle are focused on incumbent legislators seeking another term in their current office. There are other crucial races taking place in 2026, including for Governor. We’ll have more to say on those races in the months ahead.
Here are the first candidates the California YIMBY Victory Fund is proud to endorse for the 2026 election:
